Why seek a Private Assessment?
There may be a number of reasons why a parent may seek a private assessment for their child and often several factors to consider. In some cases it may be beneficial for the parent to meet with our assessor, Emma Woodman, prior to booking an assessment with us to first consider the current situation and review any support already in place, including previous assessments, to ensure an assessment is recommended.
Parents are asked to send to us documentation of their child’s progress at school e.g. school reports and IEPs prior to the consultation.
The pre-consultation fee of £80 is deducted from our assessment fee should the child proceed to a full assessment with us during the same academic year as the consultation.
