Our team of Specialist Tutors is led by Jane Dupree, a qualified Dyslexia Specialist Teacher and accomplished Special Educational Needs practitioner.
Before a student begins tuition with us Jane Dupree will first consider the student’s needs and learning differences and ensure there is a beneficial match between the student’s needs and tutor’s skills. You will be asked to provide us with copies of any Specialist Dyslexia Assessments your child may have already had, recent SAT results, and/or similar testing or screening results carried out, recent individual education plans as part of their differentiated learning and additional support, or school reports.
In most cases, before tuition begins parent and child will also be asked to attend a Pre-Teaching Meeting with Jane at the Glemsford Centre. This meeting allows Jane to ascertain the child’s current attainment levels so that an individualised teaching plan can be formulated and also discuss with the parent and student their concerns and goals.
Our FAQ webpages provide some useful information for students and parents.
