Assessments Support and Screening – DSA Applications for Specific Learning Difficulties and/or Exam Access Arrangements
At specific times of the academic year many Disability Resource Centres in Higher and Further Education are inundated with requests from Students and Tutors for Diagnostic Assessments, overstretching their own in-house support services and resources. In some cases, due to staff changes and training issues, Disability Resource Centres may also be unable to provide an initial Screening Programme to help manage and control this workload.
During periods of high demand additional support may still be required. Emma Woodman of Brainwaves Education Ltd is able to help Disability Resource Centres by providing the support of a suitable qualified Specialist Teacher on a daily basis.
